# On-chain currencies

There are two on-chain currencies in Hunger Chains: Revolution <br>

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="$BLL" %}
**Governance token**

\
\&#xNAN;**$BLL** is a game currency token that’s given out as a reward for different social activities in the game. The only way $BLL can be created is through social gameplay. Each $BLL earned is the result of social activity and skill.

\
Players can trade $BLL on the open market at whatever price the buy-side deems appropriate. Unlike typical inflationary currencies in Play & Earn games, $BLL will not be rewarded for anti-social behaviors.

####

#### $BLL: Issuance

$BLL is an inflationary currency with an infinite supply. Generally, the game DAO will try to adjust the monetary mass of $BLL to proportionally scale with the size of the in-game economy and user base. Outside of any pre-sale activities, the Game DAO will not sell $BLL directly to players and will not accumulate $BLL inside of its Treasury. Small portions of all emitted $BLL will be set aside for public token sales and liquidity pools and listings. The allocation would be approximately the following:<br>

* 90% - Rewards & Emissions
* 10% - Listings & Liquidity Pools
  {% endtab %}

{% tab title="$MEL" %}
**In-Game Currency / Utility Token**

\
$MEL is a lower-velocity, finite supply token that is used for a subset of premium in-game purchases, as well as for governance within the Hunger Chains; Revolution Game DAO. Staking and Farming at our DAO system.
